I love St. Patrick's Day and all things Irish (well, almost all things. I really don't love the IRA or all the drinking, but everything else.) I love that all the men look and sound like leprechauns. I love how green everything is, and we were there in February. I love that you drive down the highway and come up to a random castle in ruins. I love exploring said castles. I love that I have kissed the Blarney Stone (the gift of the gab, baby!). I love driving down the Irish coast listening to Lord of the Rings soundtrack (I think life should have a soundtrack). I love Irish music, and love to dance to it. I think that my most favorite memory of Ireland was in a pub one night, after exploring castles. We were there on a Thursday night, which is local jam session night. We sat and listened to the most amazing, authentic Irish music, by a bunch of people just coming together for the sole purpose of making great music. There were fiddles, and Celtic drums and even a guy playing the tin whistle. I'll see if I can get the movie from my mom. It was the greatest.
Some castle
A really cute stream and bridge at some castle.
Another great castle that they have actually well taken care of.
One of my favorite castles. You drive on the highway and see nothing until you go around a corner, and all of a sudden its right there. It is awesome, and had a really cool cemetery on its grounds, and chapel.
Wait. This is my favorite castle. Right on the coast, with nothing but peet moss and rocks surrounding it.
The Cliffs of Moore. AKA 'The Cliffs of Insanity'.
Our favorite Irish/Italian restaurant. It had the best strawberry daiquiris, and the best BBQ chicken pizza I've have ever had. Needless to say, it was very eclectic.
My favorite sign. Their humor there is very different and quaint. I guess it means that its not dainty and frilly. Its a man's meal.

I wouldn't be surprised if Erik were booking out Irish trip based just on this post! Looks SO fun!
The first picture that you have captioned "some castle" is Blarney Castle, one of my favorites. When can we all go back? Dad
So, I heard that you decided to be crazy and drive to Utah (hello, random?!?) AND that you're in a delicate condition...am I supposed to say that on your blog...it seems to be common knowledge here in T-town. Have a great spring break and I still think you're out of your mind to do all that driving. I vow to never do it again.
Wow, I'm really jealous you guys got to go there. Dad, let's all go back for the next family reunion... January worked well for us.
Hey Katie, how did you get that awesome picture for your background? I want to change the background on my blog, but I'm still a baby at this.
Thanks, and enjoy home (jerk) :)!
Love you,
Tracy
That was so fun to read! Love the pictures :) That would be an amazing experience. I love European countries- each so rich in history and tradition. It's all so interesting and quaint, you know?
Beautiful pictures! I want to go there now!
